Now serving the Bay Area

Home care that feels likefamily showing up.

Most agencies send a caregiver and call it done. We give every family a full team: a hand-picked caregiver in the home, a dedicated coordinator who knows your situation, and a companion who builds a real relationship with your loved one.

Daily updates on every shift

What you get

A team, not just a caregiver

Every family on our roster gets all three. They aren't tiers or upsells.

The caregiver

Every caregiver on our team is personally vetted by us. We don't pull from gig apps. We know who we're sending into your home and we wouldn't send anyone we wouldn't trust with our own family.

The coordinator

One person at our office is your point of contact. They know your loved one's name, routine, and care plan cold. No phone trees. No being passed around. You call, they answer.

The companion

A dedicated team member who calls your loved one regularly to talk. About the weather, their show, their family, whatever's on their mind. Just to be present. It's the part of care most agencies skip.

Daily updates

Daily updates, your way

Every shift, your caregiver records a quick snapshot of the day — meals, mood, activities, anything notable. You choose how it reaches you: log into your private family portal anytime to see everything in one place, or have updates sent straight to your phone by text. Daily, weekly, biweekly, or monthly — whatever's easiest. So you always know how mom or dad is doing, even from across the country.

Testimonials

From the families we serve

We hired Vicino Care for my mom after her stroke and they've been with us through everything since. Helen became someone she actually looked forward to seeing every morning. When mom passed last spring, Helen came to the service. That tells you everything you need to know about who they are.

The coordinator, the companion, and the daily updates aren't add-ons or premium tiers. They're part of how we work with every family. You're not paying extra for them. You're getting them because we think this is what good home care actually looks like.

We'll quote your specific situation after a free consultation, so the price reflects your loved one's actual needs.

Why we're different

A small number of families, on purpose.

We take on a small number of families at a time on purpose. It's the only way to deliver this kind of care. If we're a fit, we'll tell you. If we're not, we'll help you find someone who is.

FAQ

Questions families ask

Yes. Every caregiver completes a 6-week training program before they're placed with a family. Once they're on our team, we continue their training every month with hands-on coaching, new skill development, and ongoing support. We invest in our caregivers because the quality of care your loved one receives depends entirely on the person we send.

Yes. Continuity matters. We assign one primary caregiver to each client and they're the person showing up consistently. If your primary caregiver is sick or on vacation, we send a backup who's already been introduced to your loved one and knows their routine.

In most cases within 24 to 48 hours of your consultation. If your situation is urgent, tell us when you call and we'll move faster.

We'll send someone else. No questions, no charge, no awkwardness. The match has to feel right for your loved one. If it doesn't, that's our problem to solve, not yours.

Employees. Every caregiver on our team is a W-2 employee of Vicino Care, not a contractor pulled from a gig app. That means we're responsible for their training, their conduct, their reliability, and their taxes. It also means we know exactly who is walking into your home.

No. Some families need 24/7 live-in care. Others need a few hours a week of companionship. We'll meet you where you are and grow with you as needs change.
